One of Bulgaria’s leading media companies, bTV Media Group, has taken a unique leadership role in organising World Cleanup Day 2024, driving the country’s largest-ever cleanup effort with over 282,000 volunteers, including nearly 700 educational institutions. For 12 years, bTV's ‘Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together’ campaign has united communities to tackle waste pollution, this year focusing on cleaning rivers, lakes, and coastlines. bTV’s initiative, which is part of the company’s social brand "The Good Example", shows how media can be a powerful force for environmental action, moving beyond simply reporting to inspiring real change.
